Jake started in the wedding industry in Sydney in 1996. In 2003 Jake moved back to Newcastle and Jake Thomas Photography was born. Since that time Jake has grown the studio into one of the leading photographic companies in NSW. Although based in the Hunter region, Jake has worked interstate and internationally.
As of 2011 we have expanded yet again with Jake pioneering a studio in New Zealand and Nicholas Pitt taking over the reins here in Australia. Jake will still be available to shoot weddings in Australia.
We have worked very hard to fashion a product that is a mixture of candid, documentary and fashion photography. As you will notice with our photos, each photographer has a similar style, yet their own individual approach to their art form.
